WebScore is operated by Mardisom. We sell honest measurement, so we are equally honest about your data. This page lists everything we store — there is nothing else.
What we store, and why
- The URL you scan and the audit result. Needed to show you the result page and, if you request it, to build your report. Kept for 12 months, then deleted.
- A salted hash of your IP address (SHA-256 + secret salt). Used only to enforce the limit of 3 free scans per day. Your IP address itself is neverstored — not in our database, not in logs, nowhere. The hash cannot be reversed to recover your IP. Quota counters self-delete after 24 hours.
- Your name and email address — only if you explicitly request the full report and tick the report-consent box (never pre-ticked). Legal basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), recorded with a timestamp. Used to send you the report for your scan. Kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
- Your phone number and company — optional, and only if you choose to give them.The report never depends on them (data minimisation, art. 5.1.c GDPR). We may only use your phone to contact you about fixing the issues if you ALSO tick the separate, optional contact-consent box. Legal basis: your separate consent (art. 6.1.a), recorded with its own timestamp. Without it we will not call or email you commercially — the report arrives either way. Kept until you withdraw consent or ask us to delete it.
What we do NOT do
- No third-party analytics or tracking scripts on this site.
- No selling, sharing, or transferring your data to anyone.
- No emails without recorded consent. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
Auditing third-party sites
When you scan a site, we run functional checks against it, including a real OAuth probe. We hold that probe to a strict, no-surprises policy — what it does, what it never does, and how a site owner can opt out — described at /about-probe.
Where
Data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure in the European Union (Western Europe region). Emails are sent through Resend.
Your rights
To access, correct, or delete your data, emailinfo@mardisom.com. Deletion requests are honored within 30 days. To stop receiving emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email we send you.
